Coldwell banker listing
Cute house with plenty of charm. The bathrooms are updated nicely. The kitchen is old and small, but the dining area is spacious. The layout is a little funny. One small bedroom off the living room on the main level, two bedrooms upstairs, and one in the basement. It may work for a small (in height and number) family, but I don't think it is for you guys.
When you enter the house, you see the dining area to your left and a small living room (coldwell pic 7) on your right. to the back of that is this small bedroom. There is another door on the left side of this bedroom, which opens to a large bathroom located between the kitchen and this room. The bathroom is also used as a mudroom, where there are hooks for coats and places for shoes. Sorry, no picture of that bathroom.
There are two good sized bedroom upstairs. Girl's room with this doorless closet.
And the boy's room with no closet...
...because they converted the closet space into a play/climbing thing. It is above the stairs, so you wouldn't have had a full size closet anyway, and boys don't put things back in the closet, so I am sure they decided fun is better.
Here is what the hall looks like between the two rooms. Aunt Ruby wasn't sure about the safety of such floor shape.
Another picture of the space between the two rooms.
Another picture of the boy's room.
Work/furnace room in the basement.
The opening you see behind mom is a hall to the rest of the basement. There is a bedroom, bathroom, furnace/work room(mentioned above), and the craft/laundry room.
You turn around and go down the hall way, and this craft/laundry room is at the end. Nice and bright room, but quite a ways away from the rest of the house. I don't know if I want to bring laundry two flights down. There was laundry hookup and enough space for a stackable in the main floor bathroom, but once you have that there, the bathroom wouldn't look so spacious anymore.
You can see where the stairs come down in relation to the hall and the family room.
Here is the bedroom in the basement. Pretty small but bright and pleasant.
It has a glass door closet. I wonder who wants to showcase their clothes.
Here is the same bedroom from another angle.
Since there is no driveway or garage, you would have to park on the street or park on the grass like these people must do. Can you see the tire marks to the right of the picture. It was all muddy there.
The back yard is all fenced, completely flat, and great size. There is a door to the back yard from both the kitchen(stairs going down) and the basement family room(stairs going up).
