Think adult only yoga and painting retreat. This house would be perfect. Even room for some pottery in the yard. But for a large family with children? Absolutely no! I put Karine's engineering cap on and started thinking about things to change to make it work, but pretty soon realized that you would have to buldoze the thing flat and start over... after you save the front door. I am sure mom will explain the layout.
The driveway and detached garage
To the left to this picture is the driveway and the garage. here is Aunt Ruby going down the cement stairs.

The beautiful back room with vaulted ceiling and lots of windows. Perfect for a yoga session or painting.
The door sure was nice.
Look how low this wall on the right is here. Even I felt a little insecure. 
There is a jacuzzi right next to the sunken conversation area. Another fun detail.
